For the graceful rehoming of Beagles in the Western Cape

BRAG is a joint effort between Grace Animal Sanctuary (NPO 107-288) and Beagle in Mind (NPO 175-622).
BRAG was started in 2018, after a “problem” Beagle named Benji desperately needed a foster home and indepth assessment. Benji created the cornerstone of BRAG – helping each other help the beagles!
Beagle in Mind and Grace Animal Sanctuary have the same core beliefs in what it takes to assist a dog in finding their perfect home and try our best to home within the Western Cape and working with other rescue organisations to assist in finding Beagles across the country the perfect home.

About Grace Animal Sanctuary

Grace Animal Sanctuary created in 2015 by Founder Caron Baynes and Co-Founder Marliza Parlmer. Grace was created with the idea of co-operation with all the different rescue and welfare organizations in the Western Cape.

"Who" is BRAG?

Elana is the Beagle expert in Grace the Grace Animal Sanctuary family and is one of the three core members of BRAG. Elana is in charge of everything! She is likely to be the one running around, checking out homes and picking up Beagles (and any dogs who come across her path!)
Beagle in Mind also forms part of BRAG. The Beagle in Mind team assists with the fostering, assessment and training of Beagles – particularly problematic ones! Beagle in Mind was established in 2016 with the aim to see fewer Beagles enter the rescue system through education.
They will also be campaigning the fundraising for BRAG.

We (Beagle in Mind) decided that we would like to "make it official" by offering our assistance in raising funds for the abundance of Beagles that seem to be given up for adoption in the Western Cape and offer our services regarding assessments and training for future "problematic" hounds when and where we can.

Please note: While BRAG is the rehoming of Beagles under the umbrella of Grace, Grace Animal Sanctuary rehomes many different animals each day – and will happily assists with any queries. Please contact them at info.gracesanctuary@gmail.com.

Beagle in Mind is not a rescue organisation. We are a non-profit educational trust in aid of seeing fewer Beagles enter the rescue system. Our aim is to assist owners in finding a solution so they do not give up on their hounds and no rehoming is necessary. You may contact info@beagle-in-mind.org with your Beagle related questions or follow our blog.
